Lost out there in this great big world...
Not knowing and not caring if anything matters anymore...
Directionless, with nowhere to go...Where should I proceed?

Feeling lost, afraid of losing but not making the effort to win...
Does it even matter anymore?

Faces looking back at me...emotionless, void and empty...
Is there more to life than this?

Wishing and hoping...thinking and fantanising...about the impossible...
What could have been, what would have been...
If the other path was chosen...

It doesn't matter anymore, nothing else does...
Wallowing in this pit of self-pity, disgust and loath,
Wondering if life could be any different...
Then again...it doesn't matter anymore...

Need to find back that compass in life,
That anchor that would hold me down,
Roots that will keep me firm...
Unwavering and strong,
to fill my life with purpose once again...
