tor/MENTOR
For Heavens Sake by Mike Morgan Often, comments are made with intention of propelling improvement. We see things with the potential to be something better and wish to point it out so that the necessary changes would be carried out. It is all too easy to fall into this trap of 'feedback', in which we like to express our pleasure or displeasure (more often than not) about certain things in life.
Feedback is somehow easier to voice out than hear out. We like to voice out our opinions rather than hear out others' opinions. Voicing out kind words to someone encourages and builds up relationships, whereas voicing out critical words would demean and tears down relationships. Perhaps, it's time to reflect upon the consequences of such an action.
We can choose to be a mentor who encourages and hearten people or to be a tormentor who debase others...
